My name is Cassidy. This is my first website/blog that I’m using
as a learning experience. I’m a recent graduate with my MBA in
Marketing – yet the only jobs I can find are sales related. Not only
are they sales jobs, but they are for places that sell cable, insurance
or financial related products. How boring is that?! Hence this site.
If I can figure this out and do better at marketing myself, I might
stand to land a creative marketing job, granted I want this to be low maintenance – all while allowing myself some
freedom to express my random thoughts and life experiences. All of that
being said, I’m sure you’re wondering what this blog will be about…
First of all, I have a new found love of running. However, I will be the first to admit that it is very much a love hate relationship. I am genetically challenged – seriously flat feet. My feet are so flat that I had surgery on my left foot to try to fix it. I’d like to say that is helped, but I’m really not sure.
Now, I have a ton of other issues – sore knees and ischial bursitis (if anyone suffers from this, please talk to me!).
Next, I’ve recently gotten back into reading. I always felt guilty while in school, mainly because I didn’t really read the text books any more than necessary to complete the courses. Anywho, I’m sure I will randomly give my input on books and all this new fangled technology I’m discovering (don’t judge, I just got a Kindle after deciding the iPad was too heavy to hold all the time). *Update* I'm back in school again....finishing up a Master's level certificate in Public Administration.
Finally, I plan to share my life…anything about it. I’m sure it will serve as some sort of comic relief.
All of that being said, this may change eventually, but for now, this is what I’ve come up with to talk about.
*Fast forward a year* I've spent all of my money on aches, pains and of course, RUNNING. So, I will slowly copy and paste all of my old blog entries over here so I can at least keep my journal. This might make a bit more sense to save some money...so I can run more :)
Enjoy, comment and share as necessary!
